Forgotten Skies is a community of virtual pilots that participate in an immersive online war using teamwork, strategy, and tactics. We take great pride in our community of dedicated people who not only love the flying sim IL2 series, but enjoy taking that experience to the next level online. Forgotten Skies is about teamwork and pilots working together to establish air superiority in order to facilitate a strong ground based war. Our war has existed since 1C's Forgotten Battles was released and we continue to fly organized missions throughout the week.

Forgotten Skies is a server based interface that uses our own campaign generator engine to generate missions based on the results of the last mission.  Forgotten Skies runs a unique dogfight server software that tracks the mission time, aircraft availability, reports areas under attack, etc... Supply, oil, aircraft availability, with the ability to purchase new aircraft, etc... Forgotten Skies puts the control of the ground units in the commanders hands, allowing for more strategy and tactics in a very team oriented environment.

The frontlines move, display of troop, convoy, tanks can all be viewed on our detailed war map.  Forgottenskies promotes a 'dead is dead' environment where pilots stats are tracked (persona) from mission to mission based on their success.  If a pilot dies, so does his persona.  This unique system rewards pilots for not only accomplishing their mission but also to do their best to survive to fight another battle.
